Current Setup

The landing page and app use Pinterest Tag for page-visit, trial-start, checkout-start, and purchase/conversion measurement only after explicit marketing-tracking consent.

The app may also use first-party product analytics after analytics/marketing consent to measure app screens, section dwell time, recipe-open events, trial or checkout intent, campaign parameters, and device viewport. These events are stored in Novavo-controlled Firebase/Firestore for product improvement.

Without consent, the Pinterest script is not inserted, no noscript Pinterest pixel is placed before consent, and non-essential first-party product analytics is not sent. The app, email trial, and Stripe checkout remain usable without marketing consent.

The app uses local storage for language, unit preference, trial/access cache, saved planner state, checked shopping-list items, favorites, and custom recipes. This keeps the app usable and remembers user choices.

Technically Necessary Services

Technically necessary processing may occur through hosting, security, CDN, authentication, database, email, and payment services such as Vercel, Cloudflare, Firebase/Google Cloud, email providers, and Stripe.

For hosted Stripe Checkout, Stripe's own privacy and cookie information applies in addition to Novavo's privacy policy.

Marketing Tracking

Pinterest marketing tracking is based on consent and can be changed or withdrawn through the cookie settings on the website. If accepted, Pinterest may process technical usage data, campaign parameters, pseudonymous IDs, and conversion events. Hashed email matching may be used only when an email is available and marketing tracking consent is active.

Novavo first-party product analytics is also based on consent and is used to identify usability issues, drop-off points, and product improvement opportunities. Heatmaps, session replay, affiliate tracking, newsletter tracking, or additional third-party analytics are not active unless this notice is updated where required.
